Type any MYP5 maths question and press Enter. Your tutor guides you with hints first β if you're really stuck, just say "I'm stuck" and you'll get the full worked solution, step by step.
Click π· to snap a problem or your handwritten working, or π to upload a picture or PDF. The tutor reads it and helps from exactly where you went wrong.
The right-hand panel is a shared whiteboard. Draw your working with the pen (𧽠erases, β lets you scroll without drawing), then click Ask tutor to have it checked. Double-tap any spot on a diagram to ask the tutor "what's this?" β it sees exactly where you tapped. When the tutor draws a purple point, you can drag it where it asks. When a slider appears below the toolbar, drag it and watch the graph change. Drag the divider between chat and canvas to resize them.
Click the microphone, say your question, click again to stop β it appears in the message box ready to send. Turn on Voice in the top bar to have every reply read aloud, and pick the voice you like from the dropdown.
Click Live to talk with your tutor like a phone call. Just speak β you can interrupt any time. Great for discussing ideas and quick revision. For careful homework checking, typed chat is more precise.
Browse the full MYP5 syllabus. Click any topic to start a lesson, or the β‘ to practise it. The dot beside each topic shows unseen, practising or mastered β and each chapter has a progress bar.
Turn this on for a structured, chapter-by-chapter path through the syllabus with real mastery tracking (8 unaided-correct answers to master a topic). Turn it off any time to go back to free-form chat. If you've made progress before, a "Continue where we left off" card appears when you open the app.
Practice gives you one problem at a time, aimed at what you need most, with instant marking and a running score. Report creates a progress summary you can show your parents.
Click π under any explanation to have it explained a completely different way β with a picture, a numeric example, or a real-life analogy.
MathMitra remembers what you've learned, what you find tricky, and how you like things explained β across sessions. New session clears the chat but never that memory, and old topics come back as quick warm-ups at just the right time.
