Terms & Conditions

Last updated: July 2026

1. About MathMithra

MathMithra is a personal AI mathematics tutoring service for students of the IB Middle Years Programme (MYP 3–5, Standard Mathematics). By using the service, you agree to these terms.

2. Accounts

Accounts are created by the MathMithra administrator for enrolled families only. You are responsible for keeping your login details private and for all activity under your account. There is no self-service sign-up; access requests can be made through the contact address on our website.

3. Acceptable use

The service is for personal, educational use by the enrolled student and their parent or guardian. You agree not to share access with others, attempt to disrupt or reverse-engineer the service, or use it for any unlawful purpose.

4. The nature of AI tutoring

MathMithra uses artificial intelligence. While it is designed to teach carefully and check its own work, it can occasionally make mistakes — as human tutors can. It is a learning aid, not a substitute for school instruction, and does not guarantee any particular grade or examination outcome. Parents should review progress reports and remain engaged in their child's learning.

5. Content

Worksheets, photographs and other materials you upload remain yours; you grant MathMithra permission to process them solely to provide tutoring. Curriculum descriptions follow the IB MYP framework; MathMithra is independent and not affiliated with or endorsed by the International Baccalaureate Organization.

6. Availability

We aim to keep the service available at your scheduled times but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. Planned changes and improvements may alter features over time.

7. Fees

Any fees, billing periods and refund arrangements are agreed directly with each enrolled family in writing before enrolment.

8. Termination

Either side may end the arrangement with reasonable notice. On termination we will, on request, provide a copy of the student's learning records and then delete them (see the Privacy Policy).

9. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MathMithra's liability is limited to the fees paid for the service in the preceding month. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time; material changes will be communicated to enrolled families by email. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
